Anti-Aging Recipe from Leigh Valentine

Tired of your hands giving away your age? So many of us go to great lengths to perfect our anti-aging skincare routine for our face and neck. However, our hands can be a dead giveaway to our age without us even noticing! Our hands are constantly exposed to the sun and harsh weather conditions, which can leave them looking withered and aged.

Make sure that your hands aren't giving away your age with this amazing, all-natural hand scrub recipe. With only three ingredients that you can find in your kitchen, this recipe is an easy way to fight against the signs of aging. Without any harsh chemicals, you can work toward achieving youthful hands that will keep your age a secret.

Cooked rice acts as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, agave hydrates the skin, and the lemon juice helps lighten age spots.

Hand Age Spot Fighter Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cooked rice

1 tablespoon agave nectar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Mix together the cooked rice, agave nectar, and lemon juice. Make sure to blend the ingredients together well.
  2. Apply the mixture onto dry hands and begin to scrub in circular motions on the back of the hands.
  3. Continue to gently scrub the mixture on the back of your hands, while applying soft pressure, for a minute or two.
  4. You can also rub the mixture onto the front of your hands to soften any calluses that you may have.

You can repeat the recipe once a week in order to get stunning results! Choose to finish off the scrub with a bit of hand cream to lock in moisture for even better results. We also recommend applying sunscreen after to protect your hands from the sun and harsh UV rays which exacerbate aging.
